Playing the Fool | Sakuras | Good-Bye

Sakuras
Spring has come and the Sakuras are in full bloom
With their blush pink peddles stretched from the center
Of which use to be but a tiny bud
Touching the clear blue sky above them

They quietly hang over the street
Giving shade to the ground
Bringing such a soft and pastel colour
To an environment that is filled with vibrant greens and blues

And when time passes by
When the peddles of the Sakuras stretched farther and farther out
And when everyone has been given a good chance to adore their beauty
The peddles start to gently fall to the ground

When they do this
They change the environment dramatically
Bringing pink snow on a day where it is full of
Sun shine, flowers, lush grass and gentle winds

But the sad part about this
Is when all the pink peddles have fallen off
The Sakura trees are left bare and colourless
And turn back into the dark, dull trees they once were

But remember, Spring will come again
Bringing the nice, warm, calm weather
And days filled with sun shine rays
And once again, the Sakuras will be in full bloom…

(*Sakuras mean cherry blossom trees in Japanese)
